Dear members and friends of the SAS of Atlanta,

It feels almost like summer is here and we are starting a new club year. 24 members sat together on March 14th 2010 at the Marietta Conference Center for our General Assembly. We reviewed the events from our recent club year, presented our financials as well as the review of our books by our auditors. The annual elections were held by Andre Brack and the following board members were re-elected or newly elected for 2010/2011:

 Membership 2010

Our membership is for the calendar year (Jan – Dec). The membership fee ($55 for families, $30 for individual) is due now. If you have not sent us the renewal for 2010, please do so as soon as possible (if you became a new member, “never been member before” after 10/01/2009 your fee is not due until January 2011). Keep in mind this fee keeps your club afloat and helps us with planning and keeping the individual event fees as low as possible and of course you benefit of the membership price on events you join.

As per several requests we are creating a list of our members (only if approved to be shared).This will give you easy access to other members if you like to get in touch with them. We hope this will be helpful and we will send it to you as soon as we have it ready.
 

Promotional club items now available

Your board has chosen several promotional items to show off our club, maybe attract new members or to give away as a gift. You have a selection of T-shirts, several totes and an apron. All the details are on our website along with pictures.

In closing I would like to express my gratitude again to all board members, all volunteers, and our vendors to make our events a success.

I am looking forward to a successful last year as your president and hope seeing you at a future event.
