I hope everybody had a great summer and all the kids had a good start with school. Our 1st of. August celebration was a success and I wish I could have been there. I wanted to extend my Thank you to all board members to get everything set up. Check out our website for some great pictures.

Membership 2007 Renewal
We have had some issues with the mail getting to our Treasurer (Markus) due to his move. If you have sent us your renewal fee and form but your check has not cleared yet, please contact Markus Engel to find out the status. Most likely the check got lost during the mail forwarding! We apologize for any inconvenience!

Gentlemen Lunch
Henry Hegetschweiler is interested to form a luncheon group for the men of our club similar to the ladies luncheons. We have been informed that there are already about 8 interested members to get this started. Henry offered to be the contact person for these gatherings. Membership list/e-mails Policy
Our member’s e-mail, as well as addresses and phone numbers are not released to any third parties. The e-mail addresses are only used for SAS related communications by the board members to send invitations to our regular events (only if requested by member) or invitations received from the Swiss consulate. Members that would like to contact other members may use the SAS website and its links section to promote their business, interests, news or else. If you would like to post information on the website for the members of the club please contact Astrid Wilkens. If you feel like the list is being abused in any way, please contact Tanja Alemany.
Beijing Olympics Art Exhibition
International Paint Pals (IPP) and The Beijing Youth Federation (BYF) will obtain artwork from young artists in as many countries as possible for an exhibition to be held in Beijing. The desired opening date will be 1 June 2008, which is National Children’s Day in China. There will also be an exhibition in our Youth Art Connection Gallery in Atlanta and possibly at the United Nations in New York City. The artwork will also be displayed on the websites of BYF and IPP/Youth Art Connection.
