2026 Swiss National Holiday Celebration

4:30 PM — Aperitif
Sponsored by the Consul General of Switzerland

5:30 PM — Official program
With a guest exhibit presented by the Swiss American Historical Society

Followed by dinner and our traditional lantern parade after dusk.

Guests are warmly encouraged to bring a homemade dessert to share.

Please also bring some cash for the event. We will have a tombola!

Once your registration is complete, please return to the Extra Blatt newsletter for more information about the Swiss National Day celebration.

Registration Deadline

Please register no later than Tuesday, July 28.

Prepayment is required to complete your registration. We now accept credit cards.

Important: Please complete your registration and payment within 30 minutes. Registrations without completed electronic payment are automatically canceled after 30 minutes to avoid unpaid “ghost registrations.”

A late registration surcharge will apply to all registrations on or after July 29.

Non-Members:
We warmly encourage guests and occasional participants to become full members, as your membership helps sustain the Club, supports our Swiss cultural events, and gives you full access to member pricing and future activities!!!
Non-Members Event registration:
Self-registering = the main person starting the registration.
Guest = an additional person added to that registration.

Payment Information:

Non-members and members who are comfortable with online payment are kindly asked to use our electronic payment options. This greatly simplifies the Club’s payment workflow.

For members who are not comfortable making payments online, we offer the option to pay by check.

For our postal mailing address, please refer to the Contact or Contact Us options in the menus at the top or bottom of this website.

Anyone who cannot use electronic payment methods and intends to pay by check or in person by cash must inform us in advance by email.

Cancellations may be submitted until Thursday, July 30, 2026, at 11:59 PM.
Cancellations submitted on or before Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM, are fully refundable.
Cancellations submitted after Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 11:59 PM, are accepted for planning purposes but are non-refundable..

SWIMMING POOL POLICY
Use of the adjacent Garden Hills pool is strictly prohibited for participants of this event and their children. (Unless they are already members of that pool association)

PHOTOS
Photographs may be taken during this event and may be posted in the Swiss-American Society of Atlanta’s members-only Facebook group/page and used in Club communications, including newsletters, website updates, social media, and other Club-related media. By registering and attending, participants acknowledge that they may appear in event photographs. Anyone who does not wish a specific photo to be used may contact us at contact@sasatlanta.org, and we will make reasonable efforts to remove it from our official Facebook page/group and avoid future use in Club communications. We cannot control photos taken by other guests or images already copied, shared, or reposted outside the Club’s official channels.

ALCOHOL POLICY
Alcoholic beverages may be available at this event as part of the social reception. No alcohol will be sold, and no separate fee or donation is requested for alcoholic beverages.
Alcohol may be consumed only by guests who are 21 years of age or older. By registering for and attending this event, participants agree not to provide alcohol to minors and to comply with all applicable laws, venue rules, and Club instructions.
The Club reserves the right to refuse service or access to alcohol to anyone who appears intoxicated or whose conduct may create a safety concern. Guests are expected to drink responsibly and arrange safe transportation if needed.
